NRG, which managed to secure a partnership with developer Riot Games alongside nine other organizations, fields teams in several esports, such as Rocket League, where it has seen success. Its VALORANT team has competed at the highest level in the North American region but failed to qualify for an international event.

NRG is known for its content and impressive record in other esports. The VALORANT team is headlined by content creator and professional player Sam “s0m” Oh, one of the most popular streamers in the game.

NRG’s VALORANT team has seen some success in the region with the acquisition of Ethan Arnold from 100 Thieves in April. The team managed to finish fourth in the VCT 2022 Stage Two Challengers, which concluded in June. NRG managed to qualify for the last chance qualifier but finished in the top six alongside Sentinels.

NRG also fields one of the most well-known and dominant Overwatch teams in the league, the San Francisco Shock. The organization will look to continue its impressive history in VALORANT with Riot next year.
