Today we will take a look at some of the most funky and effective decks that people brought in the first two weeks of the tournaments and with months to go before the tournament concludes, we’ll be seeing some really innovative deck building from the participants with the meta being very fresh and people experimenting a lot with Un’goro cards.

Prodigio’s Curator Hunter

Prodigio put together a very nifty Hunter deck for the tournament featuring the Murloc Water package of finja-the-flying-star, Murloc Warleader and Bluegill Warrior. The deck also runs The Curator and it serves as a very good card draw tool with Ysera being an assured draw from the card provided you do not draw it before playing your Curator. I have been trying out the deck a lot lately and I’ve had a ton of fun with the list. With Midrange Hunter being  already good, putting a different twist to the deck building by cutting off some aggressiveness from the deck and adding lategame value to the deck makes it work like a charm against slower decks while also being fast enough to win games by turn 7 or 8 if needed with a solid curve all around.

Jeweled Macaw has been one of the best cards to come to the Hunter class providing the class with much needed draw power and being able to provide more cards to a class that is known for having poor card draw mechanics.

Kolento’s Mid Range Murloc Paladin

Mid Range Paladin has been out of the meta for over a year now but the deck seems to be slowly making a comeback thanks to the powerful Murloc synergies we now have in the game. Stonehill Defender is one of those cards that you definitely want to include in every Paladin deck with 3 out of 4 Paladin taunts being Paladin’s own class legendaries and the discover bonus being applicable makes it very likely that you will draw a Paladin legendary off Stonehill Defender almost always.

Sunkeeper Tarim is another great pick in the deck and despite people not being too optimistic about the card, the legendary has been offering very good results with board oriented Paladin decks being able to take massive advantage of his Battlecry. It is also good at shutting down big minions very handily and allows you to have control over the board. It is definitely a deck that is being hailed by a tier 1 deck according to several meta reports and the deck seems to be very promising and can possibly be one of the better decks in the meta once things stabilize on ladder.

Neirea’s Jade Elemental Shaman

kalimos-primal-lord is one of the best class legendaries in the set and it is the cornerstone of pretty much every Elemental Shaman list out there. The deck is solid round with a bunch of AoE, healing and powerful on-curve minions to play every turn. Kalimos can help you seal wins or make comebacks thanks to his flexible nature and power cards like Blazecaller add a lot of tempo to the deck.

You also have some Jade Golem synergy thrown into the mix and while it may not have the infinite value chain that Jade Idol from Druid can provide, it can definitely add a lot of pressure on board. Volcano is also one of the unique inclusions that people haven’t quite tried out yet on ladder. With so many decks that rely on flooding the board, Volcano can prove to be extremely powerful. It also works great when there are few big minions that you need to deal with since it can guarantee board clears more often than not.

Do try these decks out in the weekend and see how they work out for you on ladder. We will be back soon with more Hearthstone Global Games decklists for you to try out!
