SK Gaming are set to reveal their new AD carry and mid laner after their offseason roster shuffle.

The second-placed Spring Split team put up a fairly disappointing showing at the League of Legends World Championships, where they failed to get out of the group stages. Since then, AD carry Adrian “CandyPanda” Wübbelmann became a free agent and the organization didn’t renew the contract of Jesse “Jesiz” Le, who has since joined the North America-based Team Coast.

To replace these two, SK will bring in former Copenhagen Wolves AD Carry Konstantinos “FORG1VEN” Tzortziou and Swedish mid-laner Hampus “watdefox” Myhre, formerly of sibling team SK Gaming Prime.

For the highly rated Konstantinos, it will be a welcome return to the LCS. The player came incredibly close to joining Team Curse in the off-season. That move, however, was scuppered when the team brought on new free agent, and former SK Telecom T1 ADC, Chae “Piglet” Gwang-jin shortly thereafter.

While many have already guessed at these pickups, SK Gaming have delayed their announcement as they waited for clearance from Riot. Sources told the Daily Dot that Riot’s player behaviour team had flagged some of Myhre’s past accounts for negative behaviour and held an internal discussion over whether to sanction the move. News has filtered through today, however, that Myhre has been approved to play—but with a warning regarding future conduct.

With the clearance now in place, SK Gaming plan to officially announce their new players shortly.
