Earlier this month at PAX East, Blizzard announced Blackrock Mountain was coming to Hearthstone. Fans were shocked to learn that it would arrive in just a month. But now it turns out that the expansion will arrive just four weeks after it was first announced.

Blackrock Mountain will officially land April 2 in the Americas region, with the rest of the world getting it on April 3. This confirms information posted to Reddit this week that apparently showed Blizzard’s Korean website revealing the release date there as April 3.

With just one week to go until the launch, there are 14 cards left to be revealed. If the pattern of previous expansions is followed, we’ll get a dump of these some time next week on the Hearthstone Facebook page. Most of the cards yet to be revealed are class cards, with nothing yet revealed for the Priest, Druid, Rogue or Paladin classes.

Of course, the whole adventure mode does not come out next week—Blackrock Depths, the first wing of the expansion, will be released on April 2 with a new wing added every week for the next four weeks after that. The wings can be bought individually or at a discounted package price, with a pre-order cardback available up until the first wing is released in your region.

Blizzard is hoping to avoid a repeat of the Goblins vs Gnomes release, where servers crashed due to the demand and the launch took days to roll out worldwide.
