The players formerly belonged to the roster of Pro2Type, a semi-pro UK-based organization. Ernest “Solidreste” Sustins, Simon “Crane333″ Raunholst, Erik “Inderen” Kristensen and Adam “Pesty” Prest will now play under the H2K banner.

Two of the players who had been on the roster, Andrew “Shrek350” Tyrell and Joseph “Shellsman” Shelly, will not be making the transition over to the new team.

Pro2Type Hearthstone manager Andrew Hartwell, who will staying on as manager of the team, announced the move earlier today.

“Were all really happy with the opportunities in the future and would like to thank you all for the support this far,” Hartwell said, “and hope we can continue to count on it in the future. We would also like to thank Joe Shelley and Andrew Tyrell for their time and contribution while playing for Pro2type.”

Kristensen made an immediate impact within hours of being signed, defeating world champion James “Firebat” Kostesich in the ESL Katowice round of 16 earlier today—though those games were filmed before the signing was announced. Kristensen will travel to Katowice next weekend to represent the team in the top eight. He also qualified for the Viagame House Cup 2, and a source close to the team said that Inderen’s performances were key in attracting H2k’s attention.

H2k entered the LCS earlier this year after qualifying through the Spring Expansion Tournament. The team has been performing above expectations, currently sitting in third with the play-offs well within striking range.
