The second Hearthstone World Championship is fast approaching, and the final stop for the contenders from the Americas region will be the regional championship this October in San Francisco.
Eight players will travel to San Francisco on Oct. 10 to 11, competing for four spots in November’s World Championships, which will return to Anaheim, Calif for the second year from Nov. 6 to 7.
The Americas championship will feature six players from the North American qualifier and two from the Latin American equivalent.
Last year’s Americas final qualifier was held in New York’s Hammerstein Ballroom, but no venue has been announced for the event in San Francisco. The Americas Championship takes place just one week after the European equivalent in Prague.
The finals of the North American Fireside Gathering Championship, which will see a number of players qualify for the online North American qualifier in September, will take place in ESL‘s Burbank, Calif. studios on Aug. 22.
