Tabzz replaces Safir on Roccat

Just three weeks into the League Championship Series split, ROCCAT has completely revamped its bottom lane

Just three weeks into the League Championship Series split, ROCCAT has completely revamped its bottom lane. After the unexpected loss of Edward “Edward” Abgaryan after the player ran into visa problems, the team has now opted to drop AD Carry Mohammed “Safir” Tokhi in favour of veteran Erik “Tabzz” Van Helvert.

ROCCAT currently sit at 1-5 in the European LCS standings, with only Giants possessing a poorer record. What’s worse for the side is that their only victory of the split came in their opening game, meaning they are now on a five-game losing streak.

Tokhi joined the team during the offseason after an exodus of ROCCAT players to various other teams in and out of the league. Having not played in the LCS before, expectations were mixed, however during the opening weeks Tokhi failed to perform to LCS standards.

His replacement, Van Helvert, is no stranger to LCS fans. The veteran player has featured for Lemondogs, Alliance, and Elements within the European LCS. His time in the league has included trips to the world championship. He will feature for Roccat against Unicorns of Love and Fnatic in week four.
