Tracer, arguably the signature character of Overwatch so far, will be the first character from the game to be added to Heroes of the Storm next month.

The character was first teased at Blizzcon last November, but with no firm details or release date. Now new details about the character indicate yet another unique and innovative character design for Heroes.

A ranged assassin, Tracer will be the first character in the game to pick her powerful heroic ability at level one rather than level 10. Her mana bar will also be replaced with an ammo and reload mechanic.

The character brings over all of her abilities from Overwatch, including her triple blink and ability to move backwards in time three seconds.

With the assassin role having the largest number of heroes in Heroes of the Storm, Tracer will compete with current stalwarts Jaina, Valla and Li Ming.
