VALORANT has faced much criticism recently since multiple different bugs and issues have plagued the game. And Ninja went as far as to call the game “unplayable” on Twitter.

The streamer recently shared his thoughts on the current state of the game, saying it’s no longer playable due to the connection issues, glitches, and cheating within the game. Ninja closed his statement by sharing his hope that these issues can be fixed with an update in the near future.

Reactions to Ninja’s words were mixed. Some users said they’ve encountered similar problems while others believed that the issues weren’t that bad, highlighting that they hadn’t experienced any issues with cheaters in high-level games.

Riot has been actively working to remove as much cheating from the game as possible. The Anti-Cheat Police Department tweeted earlier today, saying it’s removed almost all cheats from the game and that players should expect ranked to play a lot better now.

The team behind VALORANT has shared that it’ll be rolling out a new patch to select regions later today to fix some of the problems players have been noticing. This patch will directly address the issue with Sova’s ultimate that Ninja listed in his tweet, as well as a similar problem for Phoenix.

If the patch remains stable in the regions that it’s initially released for, it’ll then be implemented in the Americas region at 1am CT on Oct. 1.
