Royal Never Give Up looks to follow the trend in the LPL with recent reports coming off of player Li “Xiaohu” Yuan-Hao’s stream that both Cho “Mata” Se-hyeong and Jang “Looper” Hyeong-seok may allegedly be going back to Korea in some capacity.

RNG’s coach Kim “Fly” Sang-chul is the first official person to leave RNG following their loss in the Worlds 2016 quarterfinals to current world champions SKT, who look to defend their title in the final of Worlds 2016 against Samsung Galaxy.

The reports ahead are that Looper and Mata may be returning to Korea. Looper allegedly is looking to go back to university, while Mata is looking to become a coach, according to Xiaohu’s stream.

RNG looked destined for a good tournament run in Worlds 2016 after an impressive group form saw them take the second seed in Group D, thanks to beating one of the group’s favourites, Team SoloMid of the NA LCS, twice in order to rule out a playoff for the second spot.

They were able to take a game from SKT before ultimately being knocked out. The team is now looking to increase its potential for next year as RNG looks to secure more regional success over the likes of EDward Gaming.
