Orisa will not be joining the official roster of heroes in Overwatch quite yet, Blizzard has confirmed via Jeff Kaplan, Overwatch’s game director.
The main reasons for the delay include bugs and evaluating feedback from the PTR play-testers before making her a part of the official lineup.
Orisa is the 24th hero in Overwatch and was revealed a few days ago. She is a new tank based hero that uses a projectile-based machine gun that can shield and buff her allies, assisting in all fights.
There is no official date for Orisa’s release yet, but she is sure to be a shake up the current Overwatch meta once she does hit the live servers.
