Just as a reminder, the point system for these power rankings will be calculated based on the rankings submitted by any of the eSportsNation staff members. These staff members were asked to rank the 12 teams in order from best to worst, with No. 1 being the best and No. 12 being the worst. Points will be rewarded to mirror a team’s ranking; for example, the first place team will receive 12 points, while the twelfth place team will receive one point.

After every week of action, we will be releasing another power rankings article where the teams will either move up or down based on how they perform in their matches, so don’t forget to check back here each week for the latest power rankings.

Without further ado, here are your power rankings for this week.

NA Power Rankings – Week 7 (Season 1)

1. OpTic Gaming (119 total points; 9 first place votes)

After winning the UMG 25K Online Tournament this past weekend, it’s no surprise that OpTic Gaming  once again is the top team in our power rankings for the eighth consecutive week. OpTic also went 2-0 on the week in the CWL, taking down Team SoloMid 3-0 and Counter Logic Gaming 3-2. In Week 7, OpTic will have some difficult matches against Team eLevate and Rise Nation.

2 . Team EnVyUs (106 total points; 1 first place vote)

  • Jordan “JKap” Kaplan
  • Patrick “ACHES” Price
  • Tyler “TeePee” Polchow
  • Austin “SlasheR” Liddicoat

Team EnVyUs was able to go 1-1 on the week to bring their record to 9-3 and stay in second place in our power rankings. EnVyUs struggled on the first day of the week, losing 3-0 to H2k-Gaming, but then they responded with a 3-0 sweep of their own against Team Kaliber. Team EnVyUs arguably has some of the toughest matchups coming up when they take on compLexity Gaming and FaZe Clan in Week 7.

3. Rise Nation (103 total points)

Facing off against two of the top five teams in the league, Rise Nation was able to go 1-1 on the week and remain in the third spot in our power rankings. Rise swept coL 3-0 before losing 3-2 to FaZe in an intense match that went all the way to last map, round 11. In Week 7, Rise will go up against TSM before they get their rematch against OpTic.

4. FaZe Clan (91 total points)

FaZe Clan had some internet issues on day one that cost them that match, but they were still able to go 1-1 on the week, keeping them in fourth place in our power rankings. Doug ” Censor” Martin made his CWL debut filling in for Tommy “ ZooMaa” Paparratto, but FaZe lost 3-1 to Team eLevate on day one before they responded with a 3-2 win over Rise. FaZe has two difficult matches coming up as they face off against Luminosity Gaming and Team EnVyUs in Week 7.

5. compLexity Gaming (74 total points)

Remaining in the fifth spot in our power rankings is  compLexity Gaming, who went 1-1 in Week 6. coL struggled on the first day of action, falling 3-0 to Rise, but they were able to bounce back with a 3-0 win of their own against Luminosity. In Week 7, coL will be tested once again when they take on Team EnVyUs and Dream Team.

6. H2k-Gaming (66 total points)

H2k-Gaming was able to keep their hold on the sixth spot in our power rankings after a 2-0 performance in Week 6. A 3-0 win over Team EnVyUs and a 3-1 win over Dream Team was just what H2k needed to break them out of their online-slump. H2k will look to continue their winning ways when they go up against CLG and Team Kaliber in Week 7.

7.  Team eLevate (60 total points)

Moving up two spots in our power rankings,  Team eLevate went 2-0 in Week 6 to bring their record to 7-5. eLv took down both FaZe and TSM 3-1, and will look to stay hot when they face off against OpTic and CLG in Week 7.

8. Team SoloMid (51 total points)

Team SoloMid struggled in Week 6, going 0-2 and dropping one spot in our power rankings. TSM lost 3-0 to OpTic and 3-1 to eLv, dropping their record to 5-7 on the season. In Week 7, TSM has some difficult matchups against Rise and Luminosity.

9.  Luminosity Gaming (50 total points)

Falling one spot in our power rankings after a 1-1 performance in Week 6 is  Luminosity Gaming, who defeated Team Kaliber 3-2 before losing 3-0 to coL. Luminosity, now sitting at 5-7, will look to get back on track when they go up against FaZe and TSM in Week 7.

10.  Counter Logic Gaming (25 total points)

Counter Logic Gaming‘s new roster seems to be clicking as they went 1-1 in Week 6 and moved up two spots in our power rankings. CLG was able to take down Dream Team 3-1 before losing 3-2 to OpTic in a series in which they held a 2-0 lead. In Week 7, CLG will keep trying to move out of the bottom four in the standings when they face off against H2k and eLv.

11. Dream Team (23 total points)

Dropping one spot in our power rankings after an 0-2 performance in Week 6 is Dream Team. 3-1 losses to CLG and H2k forced the organization to make a roster move, so Nick “Happy” Suda was replaced by former Call of Duty World Champion Adam “KiLLa” Sloss. KiLLa will make his debut for dT when his team goes up against Team Kaliber and coL in Week 7.

12. Team Kaliber (12 total points)

Finally,  Team Kaliber has dropped one spot and once again find themselves at the bottom of our power rankings after an 0-2 performance in Week 6. Team Kaliber lost 3-2 to Luminosity before getting swept 3-0 by Team EnVyUs. In Week 7, tK will try to turn things around as they face off against Dream Team and H2k.
