- Pittner “bOne7” Armand left Kaipi to become the coach of Team NP
- Phase 3 (group play) of the Starladder i-League Season 3 qualifiers began for the American and European regions, while the Southeast Asian region completed the final phase:
- Team Liquid leads the European Division with a 4-3-0 record
- Digital Chaos and Team NP are tied for the lead of the American division with 2-1-0 records
- TnC Pro Team qualified for SL i-League LAN Finals through the Southeast Asian division with a record of 5-1-1
- Ninjas in Pyjamas returned to Dota by signing the roster of Era, H4nn1, qojqva, syndereN, and Trixi
- Valve surprised the community by announcing the Dark Moon event
- FNATIC withdrew from the Dota 2 Asian Championships SEA qualifiers and were replaced by Next Gen
