Team LDLC has announced their departure from the Call of Duty scene. In a statement posted to their team website, they mentioned, “Today, with the lack of investment from Activision, and with our player’s contracts ending, we prefer to step out of the Call of Duty scene, and to put on hold our activities in the game.” This news comes weeks after the first event (MLG Vegas) of the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare cycle.

The organization’s announcement leaves European players Shane “ShAnE” McKerra and Niall “Niall” Sunderland without teams to represent going into MLG Atlanta, the next major tournament for players worldwide. Team LDLC experienced rough placings during their time as a European team during the Call of Duty: Black Ops III days. Those placings include:
- 2016 EU CWL Stage 1: ninth place
- 2016 EU CWL Stage 2: ninth place
- ESWC 2016: Top 16
- Gfinity Summer Masters 2016: Top 12
- 2016 CWL World Championship: Top 32
