Formerly of the ROX Tigers, Kuro saw a lot of success in the 2016 competitive season. Winning the LCK summer split and making the semifinals of the League of Legends World Championships, the ROX Tigers were considered a top three team in the world by the end of the season. Kuro is the final member of the 2016 ROX Tigers main lineup to announce his new team after the roster disbanded following the KeSPA Cup.

Kuro is the first member to join the new Afreeca Freecs, who recently let go of all of their former players.
