Rookie Shi “Deceit” Linjiang will join the Qiao Gu Reapers, the team announced on Chinese social media platform Weibo. He’ll replace Liu “Ali” Xudong who departed the organization due to health reasons at the start of April.

It’s unclear if Deceit will take the starting support from Hu “Cloud” Zhenwei.

QG Reapers sit in the third position in LPL’s Group B with one week to go.They are already guaranteed a place in the regional playoffs for MSI, having a superior point score over Newbee, who sit in fourth. They face EDward Gaming in the last game of the season on April 16.

A win could propel them into second place in the group to give them a more favourable match-up in the regional playoffs, which begin April 18.
