Best pass styles in NBA 2K25

Pass it like Magic. Wait, no, actually don't.

Animations can’t make you a good player, but they can definitely help. The best pass styles in NBA 2K25 will make your passing much faster and safer, turning many potential turnovers into assists.

Pass styles are the first thing you see in the Playmaking Moves menu in the Animation Store. They’re an essential part of any playmaker’s package, right next to dribble moves, and yet they are often left in the background when discussing essential MyPLAYER animations. We won’t make that mistake, and will recommend the best pass styles for high, medium, and low pass accuracy builds.

Best pass style for high pass accuracy builds in NBA 2K25 – Tyrese Haliburton

Tyrese Haliburton’s pass style is the best in NBA 2K25, period. All of his animations are instant bullet passes, with the one exception being a sort of escape half-jump that should very rarely come up. Tyrese is averaging 10 assists per game since joining the Pacers, including a league-leading 10.9 assists last season in large part because of his super quick pass style. If it works for him, it should work for you.

Best pass style for medium pass accuracy builds in NBA 2K25 – Stephen Curry

For how flashy he can be, Steph Curry’s pass style in NBA 2K25 is incredibly fundamental. Make no mistake about it, that’s a good thing. You still get the trademark Curry quickness without the inherent risk of turnovers flashy pass styles bring along. If you can’t reach the 89 pass accuracy required for Haliburton’s pass style, you can at least try to reach 82 and snatch Curry’s.

Best pass style for low pass accuracy builds in NBA 2K25 – De’Aaron Fox

For how low the pass accuracy requirement is, De’Aaron Fox’s pass style is very impressive. He’s also a guard known for his speed on the court, and though that speed is often brought up for his on-court movement and dribble moves, Fox can also pass quickly and with accuracy. You need 77 pass accuracy for this pass style, but if there’s absolutely no way you can get there, Ja Morant, at 75, is a similar quality option.

If you want to complete the point guard holy trinity, you’ll need to add one of the best jumpshots in NBA 2K25 to your arsenal. You’ll find it hard to get separation even with the best dribble moves if you have no jumper at all.
