Astro Bot: How to dance with 100 Bots in Crash Site

Dance for me.

You can do many things in Astro Bot: Attack enemies, use cool gadgets, explore weird and wonderful planets, and if you have time, you can make Astro dance with 100 Bots for a trophy.

Astro is adorable, from his puppy-like blue eyes to his endearing reactions to everything in the environment. He’s an expressive character who enjoys getting stuff done in Astro Bot. This is great, because if you’re chasing the Astro Bot trophy list, you need to complete many extra objectives.

The list is a fun one, and the Bot Bot Revolution trophy is a perfect example of why.

To dance with 100 Bots in Astro Bot, you first need to find and rescue 100 Bots across the platformer and bring them back home. You can find them in story levels, a myriad of bonus levels and secret levels, and even in the Crash Site.

Even when you’ve rescued the required number of Bots, you also need to know how to make Astro dance and how to set this trophy up, so follow these instructions:

  1. Play through Astro Bot and scour every level—and the Crash Site—for Bots.
  2. Keep checking your Bot counter until it reaches 100.
  3. Once it does, return to the Crash Site.
  4. Find a big open space and press Triangle to summon the rescued Bots to you.
  5. If you think everyone is around you, press the down button on the D-Pad to make Astro dance.
  6. Doing so makes all the Bots around Astro dance, too, and if done correctly, the trophy should be yours!

A minor spoiler warning here in case you don’t want to see some of the VIP Bots, but here’s how the trophy looks.

Astro Bot has 300 Bots in total, meaning you only need to find a third of them to get this trophy to pop. From the outset, it’s not clear if this is a specific action you need to do in a particular level, so it’s understandable if you’re confused.

Furthermore, I recommend finding more than 100 Bots before you attempt this trophy. Bots have the tendency to get snagged on objects or inexplicably stranded, meaning you can summon 100 to your location and only have 99 of the 100 you’ve rescued dance, because one is AWOL. Instead, get to a reasonable number of rescued Bots, like 150, and follow our numbered instructions above.
