Warzone gets its own set of Mastery camos for the first time with Black Ops 6

An all-new grind in Resurgence and BR.

For the first time in Call of Duty, Warzone will have a Mastery camo grind of its own in Black Ops 6, giving fans of battle royale and Resurgence an extra layer of grind on top of win-chasing.

Gold Tiger, King’s Ransom, Catalyst, and Abyss are the four Mastery camos coming to Warzone, Activision revealed at CoD Next today, and they’re looking pretty sweet. This means Black Ops 6 multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone will all individually have their own challenges and camos to unlock.

The camos were reported by CharlieIntel before they could be revealed on the CoD Next stream, and a short video of the camos in action can be seen above. The first two camos are static while the last two are animated and will undoubtedly be the ones players lust after the most. They look pretty amazing when seen in motion.

If these challenges are similar to BO6 multiplayer and Zombies challenges, they’ll be part of “a new hybrid system of traditional headshot camo challenges and specialized challenges suited per weapon in Multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone.

I have to say, it definitely will be interesting to see how the camos and attached challenges change how Warzone is played. If players are grinding for kills or other challenges, it may have an adverse effect on the game.

But in the end, more challenges and more things to grind for is always a good thing. Warzone players will likely spend weeks and months grinding to unlock these camos, depending on how difficult the challenges are.

Warzone’s Black Ops 6 integration is set to come with the game’s season one launch, likely sometime in early December. Ranked Battle Royale is coming a bit later, as part of the Season One Reloaded update, which should come some time in January.
