Announced during a South Korean showmatch, the team is made up of former professional Overwatch players from across the Overwatch Apex tournament. Former BK stars players Chae “Bunny” Joon-hyuk, Kim “DoHyeon” Do-hyeon, and Kim “Alarm” Kyung-bo; former MVP Infinity player Lee “Flash” Yeong-ho; former ConBox Spirt player Cho “Myunghoon” Myung-hoon; and former ROX Orcas player Cho “Guardian” Joon-hwan were announced as the secondary Lunatic-Hai team today.

The team does not yet have a name. Lunatic-Hai’s secondary team has been practicing together for a week, according to a translation from Redditor TISRobin.

They’ll join Lunatic-Hai as part of the organization immediately, though it may be a while before the team makes an appearance at a LAN event. Overwatch Apex Season 4 begins shortly after the Season 3 grand finals, with no Super Week promotion and relegation tournament preceding it. Teams were automatically invited from their performance in the previous season, so Lunatic-Hai’s B team will likely have to wait until next season to qualify.

The main Lunatic-Hai team will defend their Overwatch Apex Season 2 title when they take on KongDoo Panthera on July 29. Three Lunatic-Hai players—Yang “tobi” Jin-mo, Ryu “Ryujehong” Je-hong, and Kim “zunba” Joon-hyuk—will compete as part of South Korea’s national Overwatch team shortly after, in early August, when their group stage begins in Katowice, Poland.
