How to get access to Marvel Rivals closed beta test on PC and console

Don't miss out.

Marvel Rivals has been making waves since its announcement, with hype reaching critical levels during the first closed alpha test in May. Excitement skyrocketed with the start of the closed beta, which welcomes console players into the mix.

NetEase says the closed beta for Marvel Rivals has five times the player base as the closed alpha across PC and console, with servers expanding to Europe and Asia as well. Both new and returning players have a new map and new heroes to test out, too.

While players who managed to get into the closed alpha test will have a much easier time getting into the closed beta, there are plenty more spots available during this phase. Here’s everything we know so far about the Marvel Rivals closed beta test.

The Marvel Rivals closed beta test is began on July 23, 2024. It’s available on PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

PC players that managed to reach account level 10 during the closed alpha test received immediate access, while others needed to request access from the Marvel Rivals Steam store listing, which has now closed.

Console players had to complete a questionnaire first, similar to the one PC players had to fill out when signing up for the closed alpha test back in May. Those who completed the questionnaire and were selected for beta access received an email.

Those who didn’t manage to earn a code for the Marvel Rivals closed alpha do not have the door shut on them entirely, as you can earn invite codes through in-game progression or earn a code as a Twitch drop.

The Marvel Rivals closed beta test concludes on Aug. 5.
