A hectic week of CS:GO on the European side of the pond has ended, and FaZe Clan are already ahead of the pack.
FaZe sit atop of the European standings in season six of the online ESL Pro League. The mixed team of Europeans have accumulated 18 points in eight matches, giving them a 6-2 record before week two. They lost one best-of-one match to mousesports and another to BIG, while also beating both Team EnVyUs and G2 Esports 2-0 in the process.

Fnatic, Heroic, and North are all tied for second, as they’re barely in front of G2, Astralis, and Natus Vincere. Had G2 won their triple overtime match against mousesports earlier today, there would’ve been a four-way tie for the runner-up spot after week one. Their Cache game ended with Mouz on top at 25-22 thanks to a game-winning flank at 23-22 from Robin “ropz” Kool.
Astralis can gain lost ground in the standings in week two, after playing only two teams in week one. North, on the other hand, can potentially win their way to a comfortable first place lead if they beat Astralis and Na’Vi. FaZe won’t have any matches until week three of the pro league.
Competition in the ESL Pro League will continue on Sept. 5 once DreamHack Masters Malmo reaches its conclusion, as the offline event will take place from Aug. 30 to Sept. 3.
