With 2023 coming to an end, it’s time to take a peek at your VALORANT Flashback 2023. Featuring all the highs and lows you’ve been through in the game this year, viewing your recap is always fun.
Riot added a ton of new content to VALORANT in 2023: the incredibly fun and fast-paced team deathmatch mode, three new agents, the beautiful Sunset map based in Los Angeles, and the official launch of Premier—the tournament mode that doubles up as a path to pro for casual players.
All of your accomplishments (and fumbles) across the game’s modes this year should be highlighted in your VALORANT Flashback 2023.
How to get your 2023 VALORANT Flashback
As of Dec. 20, your VALORANT Flashback 2023 should be ready. If you had the “Communication from Riot Games” option checked in your Riot account settings before Dec. 14, check your inbox for an email from Riot containing your Flashback.
While this setting is typically on by default, Riot insists on double-checking to make sure you are receiving direct communications to your email. If this is disabled, you’ll not receive your VALORANT Flashback recap. Riot had mentioned that players need to ensure this setting is enabled before the end of Dec. 13 to receive the Flashback. So if you didn’t have it enabled before the said deadline, you might not receive the recap this year.
To check if emails from Riot about VALORANT are on, you can follow these steps:
- Sign in to your Riot account.
- From the Account Management page, click on Communication Preferences.
- In the Communication Preferences box, ensure that “Communication from Riot Games” is enabled.
If it was enabled already and you never tinkered with it, don’t worry; you should receive your VALORANT Flashback 2023 soon. Keep checking your inbox.
Make sure to check your Spam folder as well. And if you’re a Gmail user, you might find your VALORANT Flashback in your Promotions tab.
What does VALORANT Flashback 2023 include?
Here’s everything your VALORANT Flashback 2023 will include:
- The core stats page, featuring your kill-death-assist ratio, number of matches won, most played game mode, and total damage dealt.
- An agent stats page containing your most played agent, the agent that got you the highest kill-death-assist ratio, and the agent that got you the most wins, alongside a mention of the role you played most and the agent that killed you the most.
- A flex stats page containing the number of aces, first blood, and clutches you scored, alongside the number of times you were the first blood victim.
- A map stats page, highlighting the map in which you had the highest kill-death-assist ratio and the one with the most wins.
- A frag stats page, highlighting your kills with weapons, melee, and abilities, as well as your deaths to a melee.
- A friend stats page, comparing your accomplishments with that of your friends.
- Last but not least, a personal progress page that gives you a recap of how well you performed in 2023 compared to 2022.
Most of your stats will be accompanied by an additional footnote, comparing your stats to the rest of the player base or just pulling your leg for dying too much.
Whether the flashback is a point of pride or a reminder to grind harder in 2024, hopefully you enjoyed your time playing VALORANT in 2023.
