Secret absolutely dominated the group stage, losing just one match on their way to a 9-1 record and the top seed in the main event. Their only loss came to OG, who’s busy making their own run through the lower bracket.

Once they hit the playoffs, Secret’s momentum didn’t stop as they blew past Ninjas in Pyjamas, completing their fifth 2-0 sweep of the tournament. That win set up their second meeting with Gambit Esports, the second seed from Group A.

The last time the two teams met, Secret handed Gambit their only 2-0 loss in the tournament to jump them in the standings. And in the upper bracket finals, they pulled off a repeat performance.

They opened up game one with an absolutely dominant showing. Clement “Puppey” Ivanov led his squad to a decisive win as they put up a 25-6 K/D with very little resistance.

Game two was an even better performance from the top team in the world as they wrapped up the set in less than an hour. Secret broke away within the first five minutes, controlling the lanes and putting immense pressure on Gambit to pull off a big play.

Michal “Nisha” Jankowski had a few key plays that turned the already smooth ride into a complete wipe as the top team held Gambit to another game with six kills while only losing a single structure. With this sweep, Secret secured a spot in the grand finals and a guaranteed top two finish.

Their opponent in the finals will be decided at 5am CT on Feb. 24 when Gambit fight for another chance at the throne.
