The game was supposed to launch on PC and consoles simultaneously, yet console players are still waiting after the Steam release on Oct. 27, but a release date on Xbox is now imminent.

Ark: Survival Ascended was slated for a November release across Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation but the former will get the game sooner.

Ark: Survival Ascended will be released on Xbox Series X|S and Windows on Nov. 21, 2023, at 9am PT. It was initially announced that Ark: Survival Ascended would release on Nov. 14 but was pushed back to a release “later that week”, which should have resulted in it dropping by Nov. 17 at the latest, but another delay occurred.

Ark: Survival Ascended is now available to pre-load on Xbox ahead of the launch.

Ark: Survival Ascended launches up-to-date with the PC version, which is necessary because Wildcard will implement crossplay between the two platforms. Exclusive Xbox servers will also be established for anyone who’d rather face console players only.

Servers with boosted rates for a limited time are also set to be launched to allow Xbox players to catch up with their PC counterparts, though details on that will be shared at a later date/

These boosted servers will include PvE, PvP, and Small Tribes game modes, so you’ll get yours regardless of the mode you prefer to engage in. The developers’ prognosis is “to synchronize the rates by mid-December.”
