Which is why we weren’t surprised when the Twitter accounts for Blizzard’s Overwatch and streaming service Twitch got into a poetry battle on National Poetry Day. It went a total of six rounds, complete with graphics and everything.

But it was Twitch that put the nail in the coffin with a Reaper poem that straight up slayed.

“You may think we’re done and that we’re dead and buried, but it’s easy to feel cool when you’re getting carried,” Twitch said.

Oh snap. Pushing the poetry jam one step further, Twitch even put its poem over a Reaper highlight intro.

In the end, it was Overwatch that conceded to Twitch, replying with Reaper’s clapping emote. Nice work, Blizzard and Twitch.
