How to get Mark of the Spelunker Supreme in WoW The War Within

Season one of The War Within has plenty of challenges, ranging from PvP to PvE content. Whether you’re a raider or an M+ fan, there are some solid rewards to pick up from your efforts.

Here’s how to get Mark of the Spelunker Supreme—including which achievement it’s tied to and which vendors you can turn it into.

How to get Mark of the Spelunker Supreme

Tied to an achievement called The War Within Season 1: Spelunker Supreme, the Mark of the Spelunker Supreme is a special reward for progressing with higher-level content in World of Warcraft. It’s a great way to pick up a top-quality piece of gear for your character.

To get the achievement (and subsequently, the item itself), you’ll need to complete one of the following tasks during season one of TWW:

• Get a rating of 1600+ in Rated PvP
• Achieve a Mythic+ rating of 2000+
• Beat Queen Ansurek in Nerub-ar Palace on either Heroic or Mythic difficulty

You do not need to complete every task to get the reward. For example, achieving just the Rated PvP score will get you the Mark of the Spelunker Supreme sent to your mailbox. The Mark acts as a currency, meaning you can trade it in for gear.

You will only be able to get one Mark of the Spelunker Supreme per character for each season. If you already have the Mythic+ reward, try sinking some time into Rated PvP on another character to get another Mark to spend with the vendors.

If you choose to tackle the raid content and defeat Queen Ansurek, make sure to watch out for Web-Wrapped Curios as well. These items are rare and you can turn them into Kir’xal for gear—a vendor in the same location as the Mark vendors.

Where to use Mark of the Spelunker Supreme

To spend your Mark of the Spelunker Supreme, start from Dornogal, fly to Azj-Kahet, and head to the City of Threads. Find the area called The Burrows on the map and look for two vendors called Ab’xal and Ip’xal.

It’s important to spend your Mark with the vendor who offers the right gear for your preferred content style. Ab’xal offers Champion quality gear, while Ip’xal sells Hero quality gear.

If you have a Web-Wrapped Curio from Queen Ansurek, you can buy item level 571 gear from the other vendor nearby called Kir’xal.

You won’t be able to refund these items once they’re in your inventory, so double-check that you’re picking up the item you need.
