The news comes after all online qualifiers closed for all other divisions—making Aerowolf the final team to be included in the minor.

Aerowolf went 5-1-4 in season nine of R6 Pro League and participated in the season nine APAC Finals. Despite being eliminated 1-2 by Fnatic in the semifinals, the Indonesian team still shows promise. Taking a match off of Fnatic in a best-of-three is no small accomplishment and shows APAC fans that Aerowolf is a serious contender going forward.

Given that Ubisoft directly invited Aerowolf instead of having an online qualifier—as all other divisions had—it’s fair to say that the company behind the esport sees Aerowolf’s potential as well. Aerowolf joins fellow Pro League teams CHAOS, Team Liquid, Ninjas in Pyjamas, PENTA Sports, Spacestation Gaming, Rogue, LeStream Esports, and DarkZero Esports. The newly promoted pro teams Sonqis, 92 Dream Team, Team Vitality, and Team oNe Esports will also be present at the Vegas Minor. It will be intriguing to see how the brackets shape up considering that the newly eliminated former pros Rise Nation and Team Secret will also be present.

With so much talent coming out of APAC this year, fans are sure to get a good show from Aerowolf. Fnatic getting the better of the Indonesian team in the semifinals must have left Aerowolf hungry for a win, and the Allied Esports Vegas Minor is the perfect stage to demonstrate that appetite. The minor takes place June 7 to June 9 at the HyperX Esports Arena. Tickets are free for this event and fans can reserve here.
