Moira sports golden fingernails on Overwatch’s PTR

Players complained that Moira's golden weapons weren't good enough.

Unlocking Moira’s golden weapon on the Overwatch PTR will paint her fingernails a shiny, golden hue.

On Overwatch’s live server, Moira’s golden weapons only change the color of her hand schematics, which emit her healing and damage-dealing powers. Lots of Overwatch players complained once they saw her golden weapon option, as the effect wasn’t too noticeable.

But Blizzard has adjusted the golden weapon effect in the new Blizzard World PTR patch. Moira’s talons are now solid gold—and fans are pleased. Others believe that her backpack, too, should be gold, as it’s the source of her power.

Blizzard World and Moira’s new nails were added to the Overwatch PTR on Nov. 20. The new map was the developer’s only huge documented change on the PTR, but the nails were a nice surprise.

Blizzard has not mentioned when these adjustments will hit the live server.
