There are two dominant assault rifles in Call of Duty: Vanguard multiplayer, the STG44 and the Automaton. The hierarchy of rifles has been this way since the beginning of Vanguard but there’s a weapon quietly rising up the ranks. That weapon is the Volk, which features perhaps the most user-friendly loadout in all of Vanguard. The Volk is the last weapon players unlock in multiplayer. As such, it hasn’t been given nearly the same amount of love as the STG44 or Automaton, the first two rifles players unlock. However, while a majority of players are employing those two rifles, the Volk possesses a top-tier loadout that has virtually no recoil.
No-recoil Volk loadout in Vanguard
When players begin using the Volk in Vanguard, they’ll immediately find that it has a solid amount of vertical recoil. It kicks up and directionally, making it a somewhat difficult weapon to use at longer ranges. Fortunately, its damage profile is nearly as strong as any other AR in multiplayer. This means that if players can cut down on the recoil, they’ll have an accurate killing machine. The loadout that eliminates all of the recoil on the Volk is viewable below.
- Muzzle: F8 Stabilizer
- Barrel: Krausnick 428MM
- Optic: Slate Reflector
- Stock: SA Converted
- Underbarrel: M1941 Hand Stop
- Magazine: 7.62 Gorenko 30 Round Mags
- Ammo Type: Lengthened
- Rear Grip: Polymer Grip
- Proficiency: Perfectionist
- Kit: Fully Loaded
The best thing about this loadout is that it doesn’t compromise other stats to vastly improve the Volk’s recoil. The SA Converted stock increases sprint-to-fire speed, the F8 Stabilizer boosts damage range and Lengthened ammo improves bullet velocity. Players will be able to run around with a weapon that dominates at any range. The aspect that separates this Volk loadout from others in Vanguard is that players barely have to move their aim to stay on target.
