These teams are to set to join a lineup full of quality organizations at Katowice, including M19 of the CIS Region, Unicorns of Love and H2k-Gaming of the EU LCS, Cloud9 of the NA LCS and Flash Wolves of the LMS.

ROX Tigers was a semifinalist at Worlds 2016, but since then, the team has gone through drastic roster changes, having to replace every player before the new season.

EDward Gaming was also a quarterfinalist at Worlds 2016, and will be looking for revenge against the ROX Tigers, who knocked EDG out after an impressive start to the tournament.

With teams, such as Cloud9, currently at the top of the standings in their respective regions, there is sure to be a lot of high-quality League of Legends gameplay at Katowice.
