The winning team won’t replace any squads in the NA division of the Pro League since Orgless disbanded mid-season—leaving a slot open for a Challenger team. Due to auto-relegation, fans would normally have to say goodbye to the bottom-ranked team in a division, but Orgless’ disbandment left a vacant spot to be filled.

The team that loses in the grand finals will have a shot at taking down Rise Nation in relegation matches. While Rise had a rough season overall, they’ve also defeated the third-ranked Team Reciprocity and tied the top NA division team, Evil Geniuses.
