For the first time this season in five matches, SK Gaming’s new superstar marksman Konstantinos “FORG1VEN” Tzortziou was forced to respawn. But that didn’t stop his team from winning this week’s opening match against H2k Gaming.
SK Gaming jumped to a 5-0 record, securing their stranglehold on the top of the European LCS standings.
H2k Gaming applied heavy pressure on the bottom lane in the early game, attempting to shut down the unkillable marksman and lane partner Christoph “nRated” Seitz.
But while H2k was able to score multiple kills on Seitz as well as one on Tzortziou, they couldn’t stop the Greek marksman from posting incredible farm numbers.
Or, perhaps more importantly, Dennis “Svenskeren” Johnsen from controlling the rest of the map with a vicious jungle Nidalee. Johnsen scored an early jungle kill on Jean-Victor “Loulex” Burgevin and used that pressure to pick up four kills in the early going, which SK Gaming were able to turn into objectives.
The one death actually doesn’t affect Tzortziou’s amazing KDA on the season, with his 4/1/6 KDA line from this match boosting his season mark to a whopping 53 KDA.
