The final placings for the July 27 Fortnite Summer Skirmish series tournament

Some of the best players in North America battled it out today.

North America’s best came out to play in Friday’s $500,000 Summer Skirmish Duos tournament, and after 10 intense games, a winning team captured the title.

Williams “Zayt” Aubin and “Saf” of SKT earned the $60,000 grand prize after reaching the required 13 points to win. Points could be earned through Victory Royales and five-kill performances over the course of 10 games.

Players from Team Liquid, FaZe Clan, Ghost Gaming, and several other premier esports organizations took part in the event, but Zayt and Saf overcame them all. Their seven-kill showing in the final match not only gave them the necessary push to win the tournament, but it also earned them the $6,500 bonus.
