Some Titanfall weapons will likely make their way into Apex Legends.

While Respawn Entertainment have not revealed any new Apex Legendsweapons since the Havoc Energy Rifle, dataminers have found some weapons in the game files.

Twitter account @RealApexLeaks found five weapon models in the Apex game files, which would seem to indicate Respawn has plans to add several new goodies for players. Of the new weapons, it appears some of them have connections to Titanfall.

The leak discovered the EPG, Softball, Defender, Archer, and ARL. The EPG, which was a Titanfall 2 weapon, was an energy weapon and was extremely powerful. The Softball, while not like the EPG is expected to be very strong as well. The weapon is actually a grenade launcher, which would certainly shake things up in Apex Legends.

The Defender was not a Titanfall weapon, but since it appears to be inspired by the Charge Rifle, it may have the same abilities as well. Archer is another possible game-changer: it’s a rocket launcher.

Finally, there is the ARL. It doesn’t appear to be a Titanfall weapon, so it’s tough to say what we should expect when it comes to this weapon.

These five weapons don’t have announced release dates, but the fact they are in the game files would seemingly mean they will be released sooner rather than later. They could, however, be season two battle pass exclusives.
