Marvel Snap Hot Location and Featured Location guide: Best decks for Elysium

Can you use more cards than your opponent?

Marvel Snap’s Hot and Featured locations seem to have a negative connotation.

When a location has a 50 percent chance to appear for 24 hours, Marvel Snap players either flock to the game or play it a bit less depending on what the location is. When it’s a fun one, like Elysium, there’s a lot of exciting ways to enjoy yourself in the game.

Here’s what you need to know about the Elysium location in Marvel Snap, including some fun decks to play when it’s a Featured or Hot location.

Elysium is as beautiful as it is simple. When this location is active, all cards will cost one less. This means it’s time to play out your hand, fill up locations, and get as much Power as possible.

When Elysium comes up as a Hot or Featured location in the game, it’s time to load up with some specific decks that will help maximize cheaper card costs to put you over the top for some serious cube wins.

How to win Elysium in Marvel Snap

The true beauty of Elysium is that all decks benefit from it. Even if your deck is focused on big, high-cost cards, you’ll still be able to use that to your advantage as you play some serious six-cost monsters on both turns five and six back to back.

But the real fun is playing with decks focused around low cost cards, because they’ll be even cheaper and allow you to play out fun and interesting combinations with ease, without being restricted by energy costs.

Here’s a couple really fun decks to play and win cubes in Elysium.

The best Elysium decks in Marvel Snap

This deck is quite fun into Elysium, as it’s centered on playing as many cards as possible in one turn to get a really big Hit-Monkey, who gets plus-two Power for each card that you played in the turn.

With a number of one-cost cards in the deck, you can play all of them before Hit-Monkey, who will only cost one energy once Elysium is active. You can then follow up with cards like Ka-Zar, Iron Man, or Blue Marvel to buff what’s on the field, as well as Professor X to lock down one of the locations for a quick win.

Patriot decks work really well into Elysium, especially if you throw in Kitty Pryde for some real fun plays. Since Elysium will have her cost at zero, you can return her to your hand and play her every turn for added Power.

Use the rest of the deck as you would, albeit a bit more flexible now that everything’s cheaper. You’ll be able to play out almost everything, hopefully including Ka-Zar and Blue Marvel, to slap down Ultron on turn six to fill whatever empty slots you have left with some easy power.
