Report: kaSing’s move to Splyce could be in jeopardy

Splyce’s plans to finalize its League of Legends roster could be in danger of falling through.

H2K Gaming might try to buy the contract of Team RB’s support player Raymond “kaSing” Tsang to make him H2K’s new support, according to a report by ESPN.

KaSing was reportedly set to join Splyce after coming to a verbal agreement with the team for the 2018 season, but that move might now be in doubt.

KaSing is currently contracted to Team RB until the end of 2018. The EU Challenger Series is set to be discontinued in the future, however, which means Team RB will be forced to sell or void the player’s contract moving forward.

If Splyce fails to bring kaSing to the team, the organization is reportedly set to explore other support options, such as Fnatic’s Jesse “Jesiz” Le, according to ESPN.

KaSing was originally a part of H2K during the 2015 season. After his introduction to the team in February of that year, kaSing helped the team finish third overall in the Spring Split. He also helped them reach the 2015 World Championship, but they didn’t get out of the group stage.

Splyce and H2K both failed to make the World Championship in 2017, so they’ll be trying to make a swift return to the international stage this year—and both teams clearly think kaSing could help them accomplish this goal.
