Musings: Summer 2015 Trimester 1

This was supposed to go up yesterday, but I guess it didn’t. Thanks Riot. I’ve been having a highly philosophical debate on whether to continue doing these. In the end, I decided to say screw it and keep going.

I’ve been having a highly philosophical debate on whether to continue doing these.  In the end, I decided to say screw it and keep going.

Since I’ve neglected this for so long, let’s do a status update on each of the teams.

EU

Fnatic Classic: Still wiggling at the top

Unicorns of Memes: Memeing in the middle

H2k: YOU JUST CAN’T GIVE KASING THRESH.

Fnatic Black: Xpeke is doing strip teases near the top of the League like everyone expected.

SK Gaming: Tilting harder than TSM at MSI

Giants Gaming: Somehow at the top half of the League…I guess no one expected the Spanish Inquisition.

Elements: Still tilting after getting smashed by Kabum.

Gambit Gaming: Winning games after losing the first 4, which seems to be a Gambit special now.

Dentist’s Meme Squad: Still making teams fight until they lose, even after Dentist was sent to Rito jail for having friends.

ROCCAT: Still playing like crap.  I blame Steve.  It’s not his fault; he just has a very blamable name/face/style/adjacency to Woolite somehow/champion pool.

NA

Team Duo Mid: On some days they seem to be playing like a world class team.  On other days, they look like they’re still tilting at MSI.  Also Dyrus is actually getting ganks now, PRAISE JESUS.

C9: Similar to TSM except they mostly play badly, probably due to Incarnati0n accidentally DDOSing themselves and the fact they have to adjust to Hai not feeding while making good calls.

Team Liquid: Finally playing well consistently with Piglet…rip Keith.

Team Impulse: Rush and crew are still playing like a fight club, until they get dismantled by teams above them in the standings.

CLG: Dominating the early season as usual to incite false hope.  Main difference this season is that they eliminated the weakest link (pun intended).  Now hopefully they won’t choke so hard come playoffs.

2 Months 14 days since CLG last choked.

Gravity: Doing surprisingly well, but still a ded team after Saint left his Biker Crew.

Team Dignitas: With Azingy, they could only beat teams with 0-2 wins.  With Helios, they managed to beat TSM while Bjergsen and crew were tilting like they just saw a Cassiopeia top.

Enemy ft. Sky as PR Guy: Wiggling around on the edge of playoffs.  Like…I can’t exactly meme this, they’re just doing alright.

Team 8: Still tilted after losing a tiebreaker to Liquid last season, even after replacing Oddbro with the chubby but strong Nien.

TDK: Cursed by the almighty Visa…and by having Kez as a jungler.

Ryze: Complete cancer

Ekko: purely OP, not just because of his kit, but because his numbers are just plain stupid.
