The team has given current top laner Jorge “WerlyB” Casanovas and jungler Federico “Fr3deric” Lizondoà permission to explore options, despite their contracts lasting until the end of the year. As for where the players might end up or if they ultimately stay with Giants is currently unknown.

But unlike its LCS peers, Giants’ list of requirements for the position isn’t very long. The team will require the player to be of legal working age, master division or higher in the solo queue ladder, and able to move to Germany to play with the team.

Both Casanovas and Lizondoà unperformed during the season. Casanovas was criticized for a small champion pool, while Lizondoà’s performance did not hold up against the likes of his peers.
