Following his report on Tempo Storm’s new AD Carry, which has since been confirmed by the organization, ESPN’s Jacob Wolf reported that Team Liquid’s NA LCS roster has been finalized.Â
Returning from the previous season, both Samson “Lourlo” Jackson and Matthew “Matt” Elento are set to stay on the starting roster, while Greyson “Goldenglue” Gilmer, who played for their challenger team, Team Liquid Academy, will apparently be promoted to the main lineup. The two biggest names set to join the starting lineup are Kim “Reignover” Yeu-jin, formerly of Immortals, and 2013 world champion Chae “Piglet” Gwang-jin, who previously played for both Liquid LoL teams.
If this news is confirmed, this would mean the departure of Phil “Jynthe” Vu, who played with the team for the Regional Gauntlet, and Kim “FeniX” Jae-hun, who has been a part of the main roster since 2014, when the team was still owned by the Curse organization. The future plans for both players are unknown.
