Ji “Aaron” Xing, former Coach and now Managing Director of EDward Gaming has announced that Zhao “Fireloli” Zhi-Ming will be EDG’s starting jungler moving into the 2017 season.
Fireloli originally joined EDG back in the beginning of 2014, and remained on the team as a substitute for two years, before leaving to IMay in May of 2016. Fireloli shared playing time Fan “Avoidless” Jun Wei. Despite making the 2016 World Championship with I May, Fireloli did not get any playing time on the international stage.
Fireloli will be taking over for Ming “ClearLove” Kai, who many consider the best Chinese jungler to ever play competitive League of Legends. ClearLove will most likely share playing time with Fireloli during the Spring Split.
