Video game charity organization Gamers Outreach is adding eight more team passes to its Gamers 4 Giving (G4G) Halo tournament.
Gamers Outreach hosts LAN events and uses the profits to help its charity programs, such as its highly-regarded program that builds gaming carts for children in hospitals. Founded in 2008, Gamers Outreach has evolved a lot over the years, increasing the size of its charity events and providing more for those in need—but its vision to help provide those less fortunate with gaming entertainment has remained untouched.
Set to take place from April 1 to 2 at the EMU Convocation Center in Michigan, the G4G event aims to raise $200,000 from donations. The company has hosted a multitude of tournaments featuring Halo, Smash, and Call of Duty.
This should come as a great relief to teams that missed out on passes when they initially went on sale on Jan. 13. Just a few hours after the eight additional passes were added, two were already sold. Head to the LANFest website if you want to purchase one of the remaining passes.
