Pokémon Go Galar Calling Special Research tasks and rewards

Galar Pokémon have arrived in Pokémon Go thanks to the new Max Out season, and just like the previous seasons, we have a large questline to follow with the Galar Calling Special Research tasks.

Throughout the season, different tasks are set to become available to reward players with memorable Pokémon encounters, various items, and some nice XP.

Keeping track of what you need to do, or potentially keep a hold of, is vital to getting through these tasks as quickly as possible. So here is a list of all the available quests to get you up to speed.

Task 1/19

All task one completion rewards: 800 XP

Task 2/19

This is a branching choice that has you pick either Grookey, Scorbunny, or Sobble. Whichever you choose, you’ll get that Pokémon with a unique background card and different research tasks.

Task 3/19

All task three completion rewards: 1,000 XP, and either Scorbunny, Sobble, or Grookey encounter depending on which branching choice you picked.

Task 4/19

All task four completion rewards: 10x Great Ball, 1,500 XP

Task 5/19

All task five completion rewards: Wooloo Encounter, 2,500 XP

Task 6/19

All task six completion rewards: Skwovet Encounter, 2,500 XP

Tasks seven and onwards are not currently in-game and we will update this article when they are added.
