How to get Epitaph Prime Relics in Warframe

Putting the "prime" in "primer."

Epitaph Prime is the new form for arguably the best primer weapon in Warframe. And, as a bonus, all you have to do is open Relics to farm this weapon—no Railjack involved.

Epitaph Prime debuted alongside Sevagoth Prime, and the process of getting both is similar. You must open Relics until you get the desired drops, though you can only open each Relic once. Because of this, stocking up on Epitaph Prime Relics is the best way to even your odds of getting this weapon. Here are our go-to spots for farming Relics in Warframe.

  • Epitaph Prime Receiver (Rare): Neo E4
  • Epitaph Prime Barrel (Uncommon): Lith W4
  • Epitaph Prime Blueprint (Common): Axi O6

Unlike its wielder, Epitaph Prime only requires three parts: its Receiver, its Barrel, and its Blueprint. It’s also relatively easier to obtain, since the part from the Axi Relic has a Common rarity. The rare part (the Receiver) being on Neo is also positive, since it’s easy to obtain Neo Relics.

How to farm Epitaph Prime Relics in Warframe

Here are our best farming spots for Epitaph Prime.

  • Neo E4 (Receiver): Mot (Void Survival) brings three nearly guaranteed Neo drops for the first three waves, with the prize at 20 minutes potentially being an Axi Relic.
    • Ukko (Void Capture) is also a potentially good option since it’s split between Meso and Neo, though you don’t need Meso for Epitaph Prime specifically.
  • Lith W4 (Barrel): Hepit (Void Capture) is still the best Lith Relic farm in the game, so make use of it.
  • Axi O6 (Blueprint): Apollo (Lua Disruption) is the most consistent way we’ve found to obtain Axi relics in the game if you’re willing to engage with this activity type.
    • Mot (Void Survival) can also award an Axi at 20 minutes, though you’re better off farming this while you need Neo Relics.
    • Nabuk (Kuva Fortress Defense) has two shots at Neo Relics during the first 10 minutes, with a drop rate of almost seven percent at 15 minutes and an 11-percent chance at 20 minutes.
