Take part in the World Championships 2024 event while playing Pokémon Go.

The 2024 Pokémon Go World Championships event has arrived, with several distinct wild encounters and raids for mobile players to complete worldwide. There are also several bonuses all players receive during this event, providing incentives for everyone to jump into the game.

This will be a shorter event as we work our way to closing out August 2024, but it should be a significant one as there are multiple Timed Research quests to unlock. These occur during the Pokémon World Championships competition, starting on Aug. 16, with a new one each day of the event’s broadcast. These are only available for a limited time, and you’ll want to grab them during the Pokémon Go World Championships 2024 event.

There are multiple Pokémon you can find in the wild while playing Pokémon Go that exclusively spawn during the World Championships 2024 event from Aug. 16 to 20. These Pokémon should appear worldwide, regardless of the location. You must seek them out in the wild, exploring your local neighborhoods and tracking them down. You should continue to see the seasonal Pokémon set to spawn for summer.

These are all the Pokémon you can expect to find in the wild during Pokémon Go‘s World Championships 2024 event. We’ve added an asterisk (*) next to the name of any Pokémon that has a chance of appearing in its Shiny version, but they only spawn like this if you’re lucky.

  • You can make up to five Special Trades every day.
  • You can use a Charged TM to remove the Frustration Charged Attack from a Shadow Pokémon.
  • Quagsire can learn the Charged Attack Aqua Tail.
  • Lickitung can learn the Charged Move Body Slam.
  • Altaria can learn the Charged Attack Moonblast.
  • Mienfoo can learn the Charged Attack High Jump Kick.
