G2 Esports releases team comms highlights from R6 Pro League and they’re pretty funny

Top-tier team, top-tier humor.

G2 Esports is one of the best teams in the world when it comes to R6 Pro League, and it appears they might also be the funniest, too. The team released a highlight reel of their team coms from season nine and you might find that your squad has a lot in common with the pros.

The video covers a few different G2 matches, including their matchups with mousesports and PENTA Sports. Watching these matches was intense, but getting a look behind the high-level gameplay shows a different side of R6 competitive play.

Fans can get a look at the sometimes chaotic and almost unintelligible shouting behind G2’s brilliant plays. What fans can also expect is the top-tier humor Fabian Hällsten brings to the table.

Some highlights include Fabian proclaiming that he’s “ducked,” for lack of a better word, and the questionable callout of “banana.” With their ever-present humor and team support, fans can get a peek at what makes G2 a world class team. The released coms might also remind players of their own squad of friends since the tone is drastically lighter than expected.

R6 is a largely team-oriented esport, so it’s rare to get a glimpse at who teams really are and what forms their synergy. Listening to how G2 interact with each other brings a great deal of personality to the individual players and that can only be a good thing when you’re one of the top teams in the world.

The video only heightens the anticipation of G2’s return somewhere down the line. For now, thanks to G2 for a brief‒yet hilariously informative‒glimpse into how the team communicates.
