One of Dota 2’s most notorious organizations is once again fielding a complete roster.

Having already parted ways with two of their players in the wake of The International 7, former Cloud9 mid laner Adrian “FATA-” Trinks and Marcus “Ace” Hoelgaard have been brought on to fill the offlane and carry positions. This makes the now mostly European roster ready to head into the 2017-2018 tournament season.

The addition of the two players marks a new direction for the organization, which on Aug. 27, 2016 recruited some of Southeast Asia’s strongest names in Lee “Forev” Sang-don, Pyo “MP” No-a, and Yeik “MidOne” Nai Zheng. MidOne is the only of those names that still remain with Secret.

FATA- is considered one of the most accomplished Dota 2 players of all time. He most recently competed for Cloud9 and represented the team at The International 7—which ultimately saw the team finish in 13 to 16th place. He subsequently left Cloud9 on Aug. 23.

Similarly, Secret began the process of restructuring its roster shortly after the conclusion of The International 7—where the team finished in 9 to 12th place. The poor performance saw both MP and offlaner Maurice “KheZu” Gutmann removed from the roster on Aug. 14.

Founded in 2014, Team Secret quickly garnered worldwide notoriety with its star-studded rosters and tournament results. But towards the end of 2015, Secret has subsequently been unable to recapture neither the success nor popularity of the rosters it fielded in the years close to its inception.
