The LEC has seen a 50 percent increase in viewership since its rebranding in November, according to Riot. Whereas LEC broadcasts have peaked at just over 300,000 concurrent viewers, over 1.5 million unique viewers have checked in to the region’s broadcasts each day.

With the introduction of Watch Rewards, Europe has become the most active region with over 650,000 users signing up to receive rewards through the LoL Esports site.

Formerly known as the EU LCS, the European region announced its rebranding in November after adopting a new franchise model and name. With its rebranding came four new teams and a series of long-term partnerships.

Following week four of the LEC, Riot revealed the ticketing details for the first spring finals under the new LEC name. In April, the region’s top three competitors from the playoffs will duel it out in Rotterdam to see which team will take home the title of the first LEC spring champion.

With four weeks left in the LEC Spring Split, it’s still too early to make any definitive statements about which teams will be heading off to Rotterdam. However, G2 Esports currently leads the region’s standings, followed by Team Vitality and FC Schalke 04 in second place.
