You can choose between three classes (or factions) in Splitgate 2: Aeros, Meridian, and Sabrask. Each of the three factions come with their own ability as well as a team trait, a bonus for you and your team members. While there aren’t set “roles” for the factions, their descriptions suggest a playstyle that falls into your usual support, defense, and offense roles.

The Aeros faction is defined as “fast and agile,” and will likely be a good choice for players who prefer quicker-paced combat and a means to fire off abilities more often. Meridian’s abilities offer faster health regeneration and visibility for teamates, so those who lean towards more supportive roles may want to pick this faction. Lastly, Sabrask brings a barrier wall that protects teammates, and the faction’s team trait allows for extra reserve ammo for your team.

Here are all the classes in Splitgate 2, their abilities, and team traits ahead of the game’s Alpha next week.
