The story of this week is the return of EDG who won the offline portion of the Demacia Cup with an incredible 9 wins in 10 games, including an utterly dominant shutout in the final against OMG. In Korea SKT won their 15th game in a row; more than Fnatic even who are still undefeated. Though KT have a solid hold on third for the moment, the playoff race remains close and any one of Jin Air, CJ, Najin and KT could end up losing. With 5 weeks left to play, even SBENU could qualify. In Europe Fnatic survived one of the toughest weekends any team will face this year by mounting comebacks against both Origen and H2K. In NA CLG’s inevitable end-of-season collapse was delayed by wins over TDK and NME. TDK, though they no longer look like the worst team in the LCS, look increasingly likely to be auto-relegated.
